Whenever someone attends The Gathering, we want them to walk away understanding that this is not a usual “church experience”. We don’t seek to be different for difference sake. We want them to truly encounter God in their lives. It is bizarre but true that most people do not encounter God in the confines of the average church.
With that thought in mind, we have prayerfully sought God and His infinite wisdom to offer ministries which are relevant and interesting; but most importantly, ministries which are aimed at exchanging temporary values for eternal values.
CHILDREN’S MINISTRY

Children and their families are very important to us at The Gathering. Our children’s ministry partners with parents and many wonderful volunteers to help children grow and develop a relationship with Christ. We seek to offer a safe, caring and fun environment so that our kids are introduced to and experience the love of Jesus first hand. To ensure the safety of our kids, we screen each volunteer. Then this group of trained and passionate adults provides age appropriate teaching that encourages and challenges children to follow Christ.
STUDENTS
Emerge is a gathering for middle school and high school students in the Dayton area. It is a place where students can experience authentic community, passionate worship and relevant teaching. We meet on Sunday nights at The Greene. Log on: www.emergenow.org.
SMALL GROUPS

Men's, Women's, and Couples Small Groups: Joining a Small Group may not be what you think. Yes, we study the Bible and read lessons involving faith but there's so much more. We navigate life together. Through the good & tough times we encourage each other and lend a hand or word where needed. But sometimes it's less about what we do and more about just being. Being there for each other is the secret ingredient to a healthy community.

College Small Groups: HD is a small group for young adults 18-25 years of age. Live life in hi-def: The image of Christ should never be blurry or in any way unclear to the people around us. We should try to live our lives in a way that Christ shines through us and to others in absolute hi-def.
Come join us for a meal and time of fellowship every Wednesday from 6:30 - 8:30 pm at Rick and Mary Campbell’s house in Beavercreek near The Greene. Contact: Rick and Mary Campbell (937) 320-1073 or Renee’ and Merle Cox (937) 708-1720. For up-to-date information look for us on Facebook under HD-Living Life in HI-DEF.
