Worship is one of the core functions of our morning services at The Gathering.  We desire to move in close to our Lord and Savior through times of extravagant worship,  praise and commitment to our God and King, Jesus Christ.  We believe that as we gather and join in praise and celebration that God reveals Himself.  As a group of believers our purpose on Sunday is to celebrate who God is and to refresh our minds, hearts and souls in His presence.  Our desire is to allow His Holy Spirit to move and change our hearts so that our lives become a living model of our Savior, Jesus Christ.The Gathering worship ministry is made up of an amazing team of volunteers who give of their time, talents and abilities to serve God and to bring glory to His name alone!  

Ephesians 3:19-20 "… Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen"   

What an awesome privilege to worship our God and King and to enter into His very throne room because of the amazing work of His Son, Jesus Christ. Our heart for this ministry is that, as we lift up prayer and praise to God, His Holy Spirit is welcomed and is free to move, teach, heal, comfort and direct our lives in powerful ways. This is more than music, lights, video or songs or even a weekend service, but a pattern of living. Our hope is that, as we learn to abandon ourselves to our King, His leading is realized in every aspect of our lives.
